The ruins of the city of Shas is a nice spot to visit if you are driving from Montenegro to Albania. According to the legend there were as many churches as days has a year. Dating form the VIth century it is situated on the top of a hill close to Sash lake.
Nowadays the foundations of the St Mary`s church are still astonishing.
To have lunch or swimm we recommend to follow the road till the lake. At this point there is a nice place to stay or eat called Shasi restaurant.
