Wonderful walk through the South Downs. The downsides were the almost constant traffic noise from the M3 and a number of overgrown paths. We made two navigational errors as can be seen on the map. The first was at the start where we missed the footpath sign and the second where we missed the footpath sign again and, again, had to double back. Those 2 errors added 1 km to the walk. Generally footpath signs were rather hidden.
