This is a moderate hike, that I recommend to do during the fall season.
Park your car at Abi Rached store, and start the hike at the "Arz Ehmej" sign.
The first 300m are asphalt, next take a right and begin the ascent.
The first part of the trail follows the LMT section, so LMT yellow and purple signs are all over the road. The scenery is beautiful, with the color mixture on trees.
The first part is an average ascent around 2.5 km long, until reaching apple trees land, where you will encounter a small descent and an amazing view on the Laklouk mountains.
At some point the road is divided to right and left, take the left side following the LMT signs.
A couple of meter ahead take the asphalt road beginning besides a small house. Here you will not follow the LMT track anymore.
The asphalt road is an uphill surrounded by lands and at the top you will reach the top of the hill with an amazing panoramic view.
The asphalt road ends to return to the dirt road, where you will reach a land full of soil on the right, and a sign forbidding hunting at the left. Take your left and go through the lands as there is no clear trail at this part of the hike.
You will need to improvise for a couple of meters, climbing some rocks, passing some mud lands. Use your common sense.
Next you will regain the track, an area that is very similar to the first part of the hike, as nature and trees are very alike. This part is a descent, road is pretty clear for regular hikers, and as some point you will notice yellow and green signs on the rocks.
Finally the main road will be very close, take your left when reaching a land with a fence, and take the side asphalt road parallel to the main road. You will pass by the river side and eventually reach the starting point.
