This is fairly easy trail run. There is a steep-ish hike up from Andermatt to Naetschen and then it is pretty much flat (ondulating) until Oberalpass. It is mostly single trail. The route is 85% soft ground, 15% asphalted. The "single trail" has quite a few stones sunk in mud.It is difficult to get speed unless you are happy to trip up or twist an ankle.
As you get closer to Oberalppass you will run past a flat path around the side of the dam where you run properly.
The path down from Oberalppass is reasonably fun and straightforward. There maybe a couple hundred meters which are not so clear because the red and white mountain path signals have washed off but it's quite easy.
Trail shoes with good grip a must, particularly if wet. Poles do help.
Route was run at a fairly leisurely pace. Net time was 2hrs 31 minutes (but there were a few stops for checking position and pics). For hikers, Schweizmobil recommends 6hrs 15 mins.
On the way down to Sedrun, you will cross a couple of times a small stream which happens to be one of the tributaries to the Vorderrhein (which later turns into a fairly big river, the Rhein).
Only drawback of this route is that one can hear accelerating motorcycles (route was run on Saturday afternoon in July) on the stretch from Overalppass even though the trail is often a hundred metres of more away from the road.
