Starting at the Greenbelt, the trail roughly follows the Oregon trail until Lucky Peak reservoir. This first stretch would be boring on foot. Then, it climbs to Bonneville point, which could become a nice hike. The trails are singletracks and rough jeep roads, good for a mountain bike. The return route uses the paved Ridge to Rivers bike road. This desert area can get very hot in summer. There are no facilities at Bonneville point -just an informative kiosk.
