This is the Half Dome Trail from Happy Isles. Unfortunately, there is a lot of bad data from Happy Isles to the top of Nevada Fall and beyond due to surrounding terrain. You get the general idea though :) Overall hiking stats: 17.9 miles round trip, 5336' vertical ascent (both ways)

Hi, cthenn2, and thanks for this description. There is another Half Dome description on this site that indicates a moderate hike for this route. Either he ignored that checkbox or he is missing a key aspect of the hike... ~ Bruce
